Introduction
Techtrix System successfully conducted an in-depth SI (System Integrator) Training Session focused on TP-Link’s flagship professional product lines — VIGI Surveillance Systems and Omada Networking Solutions. This initiative was part of our broader mission to equip our partner network with advanced knowledge and operational readiness, enabling them to deliver high-performance security and networking deployments across Pakistan.
Objective of the Session
The primary aim of the training session was to:
- Familiarize SIs with the latest VIGI and Omada product families
- Enable partners to understand solution architecture, product applications, and real-world deployment scenarios
- Provide hands-on exposure to hardware features, software capabilities, and configuration processes
- Strengthen collaboration between Techtrix System and the System Integrator community
Session Overview
1. VIGI Surveillance Solutions Overview
The training began with a detailed overview of TP-Link’s VIGI surveillance portfolio, covering:
- VIGI Bullet Network Cameras
Including models such as InSight S345S, S385PI, and S345-4G, highlighting features like full-color night vision, 4K Ultra HD resolution, Human & Vehicle Classification, IP67 weatherproofing, Smart Detection, and Active Defense capabilities. - VIGI Turret Network Cameras
Focused on indoor/outdoor models like the VIGI C485, C450, and C420I, with capabilities such as 24/7 full-color monitoring, motion detection, two-way audio, and advanced object recognition. - VIGI Network Video Recorders (NVRs)
Covered NVR models include the VIGI NVR4032H and NVR2016H, demonstrating up to 32-channel live view, powerful decoding, 4K output, dual Ethernet ports, and compatibility with the ONVIF protocol for seamless integration.
2. Omada Networking Solutions Overview
The session further introduced the participants to the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform:
- Centralized management across multiple access points, switches, and gateways
- Cloud access and real-time performance monitoring
- Enterprise-grade features such as seamless roaming, VLAN management, and captive portal customization
- Use cases for multi-site management and scalability in hospitality, retail, and enterprise sectors
Technical Demonstrations and Interactions
Our technical team conducted live demonstrations that included:
- Real-time camera setup and configuration
- NVR interface walkthroughs and storage management
- Omada controller dashboard usage and network topology setup
- Best practices for camera placement, bandwidth optimization, and device synchronization
The interactive format of the session allowed system integrators to engage directly with our team, ask implementation-specific questions, and gain valuable hands-on insights into product behavior and performance.
