Procurement Officer – Join Our Team at TechTrix Systems!

Are you a detail-oriented and strategic professional with a passion for procurement and supply chain management? TechTrix Systems is looking for a Procurement Officer to manage vendor relations, optimize purchasing processes, and ensure cost-effective procurement of IT products. Role Overview:

As a Procurement Officer at TechTrix Systems, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. You will work closely with internal teams to forecast IT product needs and drive procurement efficiency while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management:

✅ Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT products.
✅ Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective deals.
✅ Manage vendor selection, qualification, and contract negotiations.
✅ Stay updated on market trends and supplier innovations.
✅ Build and maintain strong vendor and distributor relationships.
✅ Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and service levels.

Supply Chain & Cost Optimization:

✅ Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for IT products.
✅ Optimize inventory levels and minimize lead times.
✅ Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely deliveries.
✅ Implement best practices for supply chain efficiency and cost control.
✅ Reduce wastage and overstocking through efficient inventory planning.
✅ Forecast IT product needs in collaboration with internal teams.
✅ Optimize procurement costs through strategic sourcing.

Compliance & Risk Management:

✅ Ensure contract compliance with legal and financial policies.
✅ Conduct supplier assessments and corrective actions.
✅ Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
✅ Identify and mitigate supplier risks and supply chain disruptions.
✅ Work closely with legal and finance teams for contract compliance.

Reporting & Coordination:

✅ Prepare reports on procurement, cost analysis, and supply chain insights.
✅ Coordinate with IT, finance, and operations teams.
✅ Lead initiatives to improve procurement and supply chain efficiency.
✅ Manage and approve SOs for internal and Teams purchasing.
✅ Stay well informed about latest technology trends in procurement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in Procurement (CIPS, CSCP) are a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

📍 Location Requirement:

• This position is based in Karachi. Candidates must be available for an on-site role at our Karachi office.

• Excellent supplier evaluation and vendor management expertise.

• Strong ability to analyze procurement data and optimize costs.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and cost reduction techniques.

• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and supply chain software.
• Understanding of logistics, inventory planning, and procurement compliance.

• Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
